Commercial Benefit Services was founded in 1989 as an independent insurance agency serving Texas employers. Thirty-seven years later, we're still exactly that. Locally owned, carrier-independent, and focused on long-term relationships.
We specialize in the workforces other brokers find hardest to serve: companies with 50–250 employees, Spanish-speaking crews, and teams spread across branches, job sites, and mobile crews. We meet employees where they work, explain benefits in plain English or Spanish, and stay involved all year with claims, ID cards, and compliance questions.

Erik grew up in the family business and joined full time in 2012 after graduating from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with a degree in Human Resource Development and Business Administration. A PPACA-certified agent, he keeps current on ACA legislation and its impact on employers across the entire HR space.
A Houston native and US Army veteran, Craig brings 30+ years of sales and account management experience with domestic and international benefits. A Texas State University graduate fluent in Spanish, he works with clients to build benefits packages that attract and keep the best employees.
A Huntsville native, Renee has served Commercial Benefit Services for 28 years, building strong relationships with the more than 45 insurance carriers we represent. She holds an Associate of Arts in Information Technology and studied Business Administration at Sam Houston State University.
The newest member of the CBS team, Ale supports our clients day to day, helping with enrollment, service requests, and keeping every group's questions answered quickly.
